Subject	What is the thermostat of choice on here ? Need help !

Message	On my new build im using a nismo 160 T-STAT, but after startup the temp climbs to 205-210 after 10 minutes of driving and stays there . I never see the thermostat working to any degree at all the temp stays up there . After shutting off the engine the gauge will climb to 230+ . I am using a fmic and will be changing to massives soon , but these temps are occuring with the nose panel off ( lots of air flow ) , mishimoto rad and z1 rad hoses and hard pipes , clean a/c condersor and 50/50 antifreeze mix under normal driving ( no boost ) engine has 750 miles on new build ( IPP ) . Im getting these numbers through a digital auto meter temp gauge with the sensor spliced into the upper rad hose . Any thought on this issue or a better t-stat would be greatly appreciated .
